A good example of our ability to locate Parts and Service executives can be found in an engagement we completed for Mercedes Benz of Sugarland, TX. Although the dealership was one of the Top 10 Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the U.S. in terms of profitability, its CEP(CSI) scores did not reflect this same level of excellence. As a result, the dealer principle requested that we locate an experienced skilled executive, familiar with the Mercedes-Benz brand who could raise their CEP(CSI) scores and bring additional profit to this area of the dealership.
Over the course of 90 days, we contacted over 150 dealerships and presented a panel of 4 finalist candidates, from which the dealer made a successful hire. The results of this hire were immediately seen and evidenced by the fact that prior to the new VP’s arrival, the store's parts and service operations had failed to make full dealer bonus over two graded quarters. After his arrival, they obtained full bonus every graded period. In fact, multiple times they landed in the top 20% nationally, a true testament to the transforming leadership of the candidate hired, the efforts of his team and the dealers ability to attract and hire great leadership.
