Over the course of time, we have helped automotive manufacturers lower costs, improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction, all of which has contributed to bottom line margin improvement. Our ability to attract Lean Manufacturing executives to our automotive clients has resulted in significant competitive advantages for them.

A good example of our ability to locate and assess Lean Manufacturing executives can be found in an engagement conducted for Tube Fab/Roman Engineering. Located in Northern Michigan, Tube Fab is a debt free, profitable, growing Tier 2 supplier of small diameter tubing assemblies to many Japanese automotive suppliers.

When retained by the organization, Tube Fab was faced with inventory, workforce planning and morale issues. The goal was to locate a new Director of Operations & Lean Initiatives who could lead a positive lean transformation across this 200-person organization. A second qualifier was locating an individual that would be a part of a succession plan we helped craft, capable of being a VP of Operations and then GM of the company. Over the course of 12 months, we located 18 candidates, resulting in a panel of 4 finalist candidates.
