A good example of our ability to locate and assess innovative IT executives can be found in an engagement conducted for The Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR). Located in Hoffman Estates, IL, I-CAR is a successful not-for-profit automotive technical training organization.
When retained by the organization, I-CAR was faced with an IT function that provided little input to the overall strategy of the business. Secondly, the IT function was protected and void of true service to the greater organization. The goal was to locate a new Vice President of IT & Digital Innovation who could lead a digital transformation across an expansive organization, while transitioning an underperforming IT department into a highly responsive, strategically supportive function within the organization. Within 120 days, we located a panel of 4 finalist candidates from other training organizations, Tier 1 automotive suppliers and from universities and insurance companies.
